Aspiro is a not for profit social enterprise, providing end to end employment support for adults who are disadvantaged in accessing work or learning opportunities, since early 2011. We provide adviceand support for users of specialist (secondary care) mental health care services jointly with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
We also have experience of providing specialised work and learning support to recovering substance users, ex-offenders, forensic mental health patients, as well as adults with a learning disability.

We operate popular Employment Clinics through 10 locations based throughout Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our employment advisers offer free work & learning information, advice and support through one-to-one sessions. After initial assessment of the customer’s needs, a Personalised Action Plan is created with the individual’s input and is followed by regular reviews. Employment Clinics are offered to customers under the Mental Health Employment Service.
At Employment Clinics our advisers use mobile web-enabled laptops with access to job vacancies, volunteering, apprenticeships and learning opportunities, we help with applications, can create effective CVs, and help assess prospective opportunities to see how they fit with the customers’ health needs to try and match their skills and aspirations with healthy and sustainable recovery.

We specialise in supporting people with a disability, learning difficulty or mental health condition. Specially trained advisors have the sole aim to support people in gaining suitable and sustainable employment. We do this by assisting in the development of confidence, motivation and soft skills. Our advisors understand disability and work with you to overcome any barriers you may be face in your journey to work. We also offer effective training & coaching around interview preparation, application support both online and paper versions and C.V.’s. A dedicated team sources new vacancy opportunities which have been guaranteed to Remploy. We run regular job searching sessions with support for applications. We have In Work Support advisors who will monitor you once you are in employment and assist where necessary.
