Leicestershire Recovery College

We have developed a Recovery College. The college provides a range of recovery focused courses, seminars and workshops for people accessing adult mental health services and for their relatives, friends and loved ones – and for our own Trust staff.

The courses are free and aimed at supporting people to recognise and develop their personal resourcefulness, resilience and talents in order to become experts in their own self care, make informed choices and help them achieve their aspirations and goals in life.

The Leicestershire Recovery College has been co-produced and co-developed with people who use mental health services and with a range of external organisations and services.  We offer a range of courses and our Spring 2016 Prospectus is available to download now!

A great new partnership formed with Phoenix Therapies who will be delivering a couple of new courses for us at a satellite venue – The Mett Centre. Also – courses now more accessible for people living in the Narborough/Enderby areas as satellite venues at Blaby District Council Offices and A Place To Grow in Enderby.

There are no entry requirements to enrol. We have an online enrolment form or you can can complete a paper form, to post to the college, alternatively you can enrol by phone on 0116 295 1196.  The college is based on the Glenfield Hospital site (see map) for more information. The college is normally open 9.30am-3.00pm (although some courses may run past this time).
