Lamp believes that the impact on of COVID-19 on mental health could be severe. Last week the BBC reported that Psychiatrists also think this way and many are concerned that those who need support may be too fearful to seek it.

One psychiatrist was quoted as saying: “In old-age psychiatry our patients appear to have evaporated, I think people are too fearful to seek help.”

Lamp encourages anyone who feels this way to pick up the telephone and call one of our advocates. Or, get in touch via email. Contact details can be found here.
