The voice of Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland returns this March with Special Guest Speaker Sally Pearce.
Foundation Training was founded by Sally in 2016 to provide mandatory training and support to staff and management within the Health and Social Care sector. This includes Nursing and Care Homes, Domiciliary, Mental Health support and Learning disability support.
Sally’s previous experience involved training with mental health groups and those with learning disabilities within the community, supporting their learning and improving health and well being through various Government projects.
Sally will be giving a First Aid for Mental Health taster session to members and detailing the importance of having qualified Mental Health first aiders as part of your organisation. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for future Lamp First Aid for Mental Health Courses.
