LAMP joins Leicester Comedy Festival Business Partners Club

It’s no joke that Lamp is continuing its partnership with the Leicester Comedy Festival by joining the Business Partner Club as a Charity Member.

The move strengthens LAMP’s association with the Leicester Comedy Festival which first began in 2020 when the charity helped to design a mental health and wellbeing toolkit. This was given to audience members to ensure that the festival was accessible and supportive of those who were facing difficulties at the time. The toolkit offered useful advice on how to make the best of the festival and what to do if audience members needed support.

The Business Partners Club is a way for companies, higher education institutions and charities to support the Leicester Comedy Festival, whilst raising their profiles and enhancing awareness of the work they do.

Richard Kotulecki, Lamp’s CEO said:

“I am delighted that we are continuing our partnership with the Leicester Comedy Festival and we’re keen to get even more involved for 2023. I think being involved in the Festival is a great way to encourage the community of Leicester (and further afield) to come together for some shared stress relief. Laughter, as they say, is the best medicine and when it comes to mental health, sharing your laughter with loved ones and friends can significantly lift your spirits by reducing anxiety and depression, making you happier – plus, it’s a great way to build relationships.”

This year’s Leicester Comedy Festival takes place from 2-20 February 2022. More details can be found here.
