The Health Suite joins Lamp Business Club to support mental health

The Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project (Lamp) charity has added The Health Suite, a private medical and wellness clinic based in Leicester, to its growing Business Club. The move strengthens Lamp’s role as an influential voice on workplace wellbeing and mental health throughout Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.

The latest addition to Lamp’s Business Club raises its total membership to over 50 companies. As one of its charitable initiatives, The Health Suite has completed its first fundraiser where staff and supporters clocked up 175 miles with a walking challenge. They will continue to add their miles to the overall tally in a bid to support Lamp’s Trip to the Moon 5k campaign.

Sue Williams, The Health Suite’s Business Liaison Manager said:

“We are delighted to be joining Lamp’s Business Club with other passionate businesses who recognise the significance of mental health in the workplace. We were keen to support a local charity and workplace wellbeing is something we are very passionate about. We chose to join Lamp after meeting them recently where we heard about the charity’s vital work in mental health advocacy, and decided to get involved in its 5k challenge. We are looking forward to supporting Lamp and excited to connect with like-minded people who want to learn, share experiences and raise awareness of mental health. At The Health Suite, we aim to optimise health and we look forward to making a positive contribution to the way we all think about mental health.”

Richard Kotulecki, Lamp’s CEO added:

“We’re delighted that The Health Suite has joined our Business Club and extend a warm welcome to them. It’s great to see the range of companies that are represented (in our Business Club) and their membership is vital to enhancing the awareness of mental health in the workplace.”
